You Are A Masterpiece.. Like MONA LISA
Hello my beautiful ladies and gents! I hope August has been treating you very well. So far August has been a great month and I cannot complain at all. I don't know what was in the atmosphere in July, but I can totally feel the shift change. So with that being said. I know you see the title and you're probably wondering, what does Mona Lisa have to do with me being a masterpiece?

There's this song by Jazmine Sullivan called "Masterpiece (Mona Lisa)". And in the song she sings,
"Every part of me is a vision of a portrait of Mona, of Mona Lisa, every part of me is beautiful, and I finally see I'm a work of art, a masterpiece".
That whole entire verse right there is deep within itself. But throughout the entire song she's saying that she went through a time where she told herself that she wasn't good enough, her flaws were ugly. And being exposed about it, she doesn't know how to handle it. Sometimes we tend to forget how unique we are and the rough edges about us are the best parts about us.
We cannot forget about our flaws and what makes us who we are as a person. Rather this person likes it or not, you have to learn how to love yourself for all that you can bring to the table. Once you recognize how special and unique you are, just like Mona Lisa, you can walk with your head held high and chest out because nothing can come between the love that you finally have for yourself.
As the song goes on, Jazmine continues to say, "And now I see the pretty colors on my canvas, I'm a work of art, a Mona Lisa, I'll share my picture with the world, Not afraid to let it show anymore".
When you open your eyes, shut out what every one else has to say, and look in the mirror. You can finally see that God took his special time to create YOU! You are a work of art that he specifically took his time on and there is no other like you. You are a masterpiece. Your flaws are a masterpiece. Your smile is a masterpiece. Your curves is a masterpiece. Your skin is a masterpiece. The wrinkles in your forehead is a masterpiece. Everything about YOU and what makes you, YOU, is a masterpiece. And don't you ever forget that!
